Work Placement in Capanalea OEC

My name is Egidijus Ceginskas I am a student from ITT Tralee, Adventure Tourism Management course and I have finished my six weeks work placement in Cappanalea OEC, where I had amazing, unforgettable time.
From the first day in Cappanalea I was welcomed and treated as a staff member. I have got lots of experience in variety activities, starting from rock-climbing, kayaking, hill walking, orienteering and canoeing. I have logged all my hours needed for the sea kayaking instructor training assessment, also I logged some hill walks needed for my Mountain skills assessment.
I am on my final day in the office, where I am familiarised with social media, marketing, management, event planning and all business side of the centre. I still can’t believe that is my final day today.
If you are thinking to do work placement in Cappanalea, I would say it is worth it by million percent.
