Cappanalea OEC contributes to many PLC programmes around the country. The Centre provides a focus for many of the outdoor modules in Hillwalking; Rock climbing; Kayaking; Canoeing; Orienteering; Sailing; Windsurfing or Outdoor Leadership.
The unique setting and the pool of qualified instructors set Cappanalea out as one of the premier outdoor education centres in Europe. Students following the Post Leaving Certificate Programme can experience the operation of a busy outdoor centre and prepare themselves for a future career in the sector.
